The paperback version of erilaR – part 1, is now available on Amazon.
I am making good progress with the fifth book in the Thrice Named Man series which I plan to publish in September 2019.
After this, it will either be the sixth book of the Thrice Named Man series or the second book of the erilaR series.
Hello Hector…
I’m thoroughly enjoying your books. Unfortunately, I’ve finished them all in a matter of days and must now wait as they are “piece-mealed” out due to you having to write them! Ahhh, the trials of the reader…lol.
So looking forward to more of your well researched historical novels.
Hi Lyn,
Thanks for the kind words.
I know the feeling. Just got hold of a book I’ve been waiting on for months and it’s like receiving an early Christmas present.
Good news is that Book V is progressing well and is still on track for September release.
Happy reading!
Hector,
Well done I have just now finished my last book of yours.
I find them very well written and the history is fascinating.
I have been of warrior class for over twentyfold years.
You know how to stage a battle scene and the thoughts of
those afiled. I am waiting for your next book in September
Thanks for the excellent reading.I am also addicted to your
type of writing.
Alford,
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.
I can safely say that we share the same addiction, although my writing tends to limit the hours that I have available to read.
Writing the stories, as strange as it may sound, provides me with as much enjoyment as reading.
Getting the actual history correct is very important to me, although (especially relating to the events of the third century) it is more a case of not getting it wrong, than getting it right, as few records remain. The same goes for details pertaining to the barbarian tribes, although I read a lot of what is available, especially the translations of the primary texts, before committing pen to paper.
I am progressing well with book V of the Thrice Named Man and have written approximately 50%, which is a guess at best as I am not sure of the page count at this stage.
Thanks again for the positive feedback.
Kind regards.
